Preserving a Culture

Preserving a Culture is a story that supports the preserving of an old native language, Inuktitut. Leah Otak is the woman that sees that this culture that she once lived in is now leaving everyone. Leah decides to start doing something about this, trying to keep her childhood preserved. She comes across these tape recordings of this university student that recorded the Inuit Leadership. There was so much vocabulary in these tapes they got the idea to start recording storeys their grandparents told to them when they were little.
